Wine&Siena: Journey into the wine history
In winter, Siena hosts Wine&Siena, the opening event of the Italian food and wine calendar, capable of combining art, history, and taste. The event takes place in the Santa Maria della Scala Museum Complex, which closes to the public during those days to become the exclusive setting for tastings, meetings, and in-depth discussions. Created by Helmuth Köcher, founder of the Merano WineFestival, Wine&Siena brings to the Tuscan city the refined experience and attention to excellence that characterize the world of Italian wine.
Wine&Siena, between tastings and meetings with experts
Wine&Siena allows you to savor wines from every corner of Italy, meet producers and industry professionals, and participate in masterclasses, seminars, and WineHunter Talks. Each collateral event is designed to deepen the knowledge of the wine world and enhance the culture of taste, offering an immersive and engaging experience.
Santa Maria della Scala, the enchanting location of Wine&Siena
The charm of Santa Maria della Scala adds a unique value to the event: walking through the historic halls and centuries-old courtyards while tasting quality wines means immersing oneself in the Siena of tradition and culture. The natural scenery of the museum complex makes every sip a sensory and narrative experience, linking each wine to the millennia-old history of the city.
Wine&Siena, for experts, enthusiasts, and visitors
